Chip..Thanks for the update. His records shows ( Sick in Hospital on the 30 Aug - 30 oct 1862 Muster card ) His Nov - Dec 1862 card shows
Died in Hospital. His Quartermaster card that paid his widow says ( Alleged died in hospital 20 Oct 1862 ) So guess I can assume he may have been in a Hosptial in iuka .
