Henry Thomas Calhoun, 1st MS Cavalry

Gentlemen and Ladies: A fellow from TN emailed me for assistance in finding the final resting place of his ancestor -- Pvt. Henry Thomas Calhoun, Co. D, 1st MS Cavalry. Henry may have been from Tallahatchie County, MS. I am a pretty fair (when not too drunk!) researcher, but cannot find out anything about this man, other than some info from the 1860 Federal Census, which shows Henry aged 25, a civil servant (or something like that), married to Bettie, aged 20, and owning no real estate or having any personal property of value. Henry is listed as having been born in SC, while Bettie is listed as having been born in MS. If any of you really good (even if a little tipsy!) researchers can help this man find the last resting place of his Confederate forebear, he and I would really appreciate it -- he because this is his ancestor, me because I'm flusterate-ified at not being able to help him!!! Thanks! -- Jim Huffman, Gainesville Volunteers, SCV Camp 373, Pearl River County, MS
