Hi Jeff and thanks for your Blog. I greatly enjoyed reading it! My dad's paternal great-grand-dad, Samuel Jason V., served in the MS 35th Co. D and my dad's maternal grandfather, Issac Benjamin Littleton, served in MS 30th Co. D. Both were captured at least twice during the war. SJV at Vicksburg and again at Ft. Tyler, the last battle of the war. IBL suffered a slight wound to his foot from a cannon ball, but spent most of the war as a two time prisoner. Anyway, thanks again for all of your hard work and for sharing the fruit of it.
