Annett: Both men's records are (strangely!) found among Miscellaneous Texas records. The men were listed as being citizens of Dry Run, Missouri, but were apparently arrested in or at Tippah, MS. They were sent on unspecified "charges" to the Yankee POW Camp/hellhole at Alton, IL. They are both listed as having been later sent for exchange (i.e., sent back South in exchange for a matching number of Yankee POW's).
