Good stuff Jeff. My only Mississippi ancestor who served in the ANV was Pvt. Jacob Cheek of the 12th Mississippi. I had several ancestors on my Louisiana side in the ANV but Pvt. Cheek is the lone wolf of the ANV of my line it seems.

FYI... oral family histories tell of an ancestor named Bud Cheek. You can't make this stuff up LOL!
