Please help identify the bullet that was brought home from Shiloh in the shoulder of private Thomas Jefferson Price of Company B 7th Mississippi. The family kept the bullet after Thomas died. They would like to have it correctly identified. Not being an expert in munitions, I thought I would go to the board. A photo of the bullet can be viewed at the 7th Mississippi website. I can also forward a copy of the original photo.
