I do not have any proof that William Bennett Singleton( born Jan 4, 1822 ) was in the Civil War. I was hoping that someone could lead me to the proof.
William was a brother to my gr gr grandfather Joseph M. Singleton, who along with two other brothers were in the CW. I guess I thought or hoped that William was a soldier too.
I have not found any connections listed for the name of Thomas Bennett Singleton. William and Joseph did have a brother Thomas ( not in the CW that I found) but not Thomas Bennett.
