Hi, I am working on my school's project on the soldier who fought at the battle of Vicksburg in Civil War. I am looking for the information on the soldier name J.H. Hartsfeild who was a soldier's rest in 35th Mississippi Infantry unit, company C. He died in June, 26th, 1863. I found some information on his company, but I still need more information on his family, his background, the battle that have something to do with him or his unit, his company's duty, how or where did he die. I'll have to write a journey of him so any information, if anyone know, would be really helpful and appreciated. If you know the sites I can find out more about him, please post the link or let me know.
