Hello. I am doing a project about the Siege of Vicksburg during the Civil War. We were assigned a soldier to research. My soldier's name is J.H.Hartsfield. He was in the 35th Mississippi Infantry and died on June 26th, 1863. Does anyone have any information about my soldier or the 35th Mississippi Regiment? Or any useful sources to find good information?
