COFFEEVILLE, MISSISSIPPI
5 December 1862
OR-Series I, Volume XVII, Chapter XXIX, Pg 494

I have long questioned this order of battle from this web site for a couple of reasons.
1st-The Official Records link of Chapter XXIX, Pg 494 does not point to an order of battle
2nd-The order of battle can be pieced together by reading Gen Tilghman's report of the engagement engagement in the Official Records: Series 1, vol 17, Part 1. Pp 503-507. And, this varies considerably from the order of battle presented at the above web site.

The units actually engaged on the Confederate side as extracted from Tilghman's report were parts or all of brigades as follows:

Lovell's 1st Corps
Tilghman's 1st Division
Baldwin's 1st Brigade consisting of:
8th Kentucky
14th Mississippi
26th Mississippi
23rd Mississippi

Rust's 2nd Division
Thompson's 2nd Brigade with units referenced as:
9th Arkansas
3rd Kentucky

In addition, Tilghman had under his command:
Captain [Alcide] Bouanchand's company of the Point Compee Artillery
battery two Parrott guns from Captain [W. H.] Hedden's battery of Tilghman’s 1st Division
Colonel [W. H.] Jackson [Seventh Tennessee Cavalry

On November 13, 1862, there is a reference indicating Thompson's Brigade was composed as:
Thompson
3 Ky
7 Ky
35 Al
4 Al Bn
9 Ar
