I am joyful to find someone who knows those clans! I know so very little as I only saw any of them twice in my life. I spent the summer of 53 as a v. young girl. Your mom was a new bride to Bitty as my mother called Ilos. He came to Independence to see us and told us all about the pride of his life! I learned to love everyone there even if it was a short time. My sisters and brother had no relatives living near us all our lives. Your dear prescious father Ilos came here inthe mid 60's sometime. We all loved him so much. He had a wonderful sence of humor and was my mothers favorite sibling. She spoke of him all our lives. I know his wife and children were the absolute joy of his life I would very much like to find Carpenters geneology. Where they came from etc. I know a little bit about the Weems Clan as they were better recorded in history, being royalty and noblemen of Scotland. Searching is rather dificult since I am so new at the computer. My daughters and I live in San Diego Ca. The only ones living from our family is Joe, Lucille and myself. My daughters have no children. My daughter Leslie is a nurse, my daughter Ruth is a post mistress and I am a retired nurse. I would like to correspond very much.
