I have information that Irvin or Irwin Ellzey was killed in a trail derailment in New Orleans, LA Nov 1864. I can not find any information on this. I saw a web page by Ron Skellie and it stated he had information on two other wrecks. Any information on this.
Irwin or Irvin Ellzey was born 1821 in Orangeburg, SC. I found a Veteran's GraveMarker for him on Ancestry.com and shows him buried in Ellzey Cemetery, Jones Co., MS. Thanks,
