Ordinarily what is true of a regiment is true for all companies assigned to it. For example, on Nov 24, 1863, the 34th Mississippi Regiment deployed as pickets along the eastern slope of Lookout Mountain below the rock palisades along the crest. Company "F" would have been there and captured along with most of the regiment during the fighting that morning.
