Not really. The closest "major" battles were Brice's Crossroads (appx 18 miles from NA), Harrisburg/Tupelo (appx 25 miles), Okolona (appx 35 miles). There was a small battle at "Rocky Ford", a Tallahatchie River crossing between New Albany and the area I was talking about in the earlier post. Grierson camped at New Albany during both of his raids, and burned part of the town during the second one. There were some very small skirmishes around the county, mostly local militia shooting at Yankees during creek crossings.
