I understand that for sure. Only story of my Turner family that was ever handed down was one of the Turner boys went to the war and disapeared. Nothing ever heard from him. We are I always thought it was Alfred Turner he was KIA Port Hudson La. But he had people from around here with him in the unit. When they got home should have told his brothers what happened. I think it is a John Turner 20 years old 1860 on census nothing ever again. No stone are anything around his home. Alfred Turner started out with Co H 43 ended up KIA with Mooreville Darts forgot the number. I got a record on a John W Turner I think but the MI was different than the census. If I am remembering this correct he are the John Turner are a John Turner joined the Mooreville Darts. Might have died in Ky at start of the war. Jim tried to help me years ago. Good to learn about family. Good are Bad. John in Ms
