Jesse Gee Tudor moved to Tiplersville in the 1830s14 of his 15 children were born in Tippah County. I have found two of his sons, William Duncan Tudor & Thomas B Tudor, in G Co. 23rd MS Regt; son Tilman Woodward Tudor in A Co. 14th MS Regt commanded by Maj Sol Street and Capt. W.W. Rutherford and finally Hardy Strickland Tudor in the 1st Mississippi Partisan Rangers / 7th Mississippi Cavalry. William died in a Union prison, Pea Island, NJ in 1865. The others survided the war. There are two brothers I cannot find units for, John Glaze Tudor, born 1838, and Daniel Kinsey Tudor, born 1847.
