I am looking to fill in the gaps in my notes on Lewis Benbrook of Adams County. I know that he served as a PVT in Co. E 4th La Battalion before being dischaged in 1861 for disability and then enlisted in Capt English's Battery and served in that company until the surrender of Port Hudson. After Port Hudson, he served in a cavalry unit (unfortunately I can't remeber which at present and my notes are n need of a reorganzation). He is listed as a saddle maker in 1860. The MSCGR has him buried in Kingston, but I don't know where specifically. Any other information will be appreciated
