Pvt Jeff(erson) Sinclair 22nd MS Co. K

Jefferson Sinclair enlisted as a Pvt. in Co. K, 22nd MS Inf, from Lafayette Co. MS in 1861, along with his younger brother, A(nderson) Sinclair, and brother-in-law, A. C. Vance. A. Sinclair made it through the War, A.C. died at Corinth, May 5, 1862.
What happened to Jeff? Unable to locate him in 1870 census or thereafter.

He was married to C.R. (Candace) bn GA. Jeff and Candace Sinclair, with four children, Josephine, Ellen, William & Noah, were in the the 1860 Lafayette Co MS census. Some of the Sinclair families with Vances, migrated to AR in mid 1870's. Candace, a widow, was living with their son, William Sinclair in Yell Co AR in the 1880 census.
Can anyone tell me if Pvt Jeff Sinclair, 22nd MS Co. K, survived the War? Any help appreciated.
