Thanks George, as usual, you da man When I first read about the elder Wilkins, I assumed they were father and son, but the information I was able to collect, does not mention Wilkins jr. I guess the information on hand is as they say good enough for government work. With both father and son dead during the war, this is one soldier whose descendents I should kill myself trying to find and I think the Wilkins family goes back aways in Adams County; I know there was a Captain Wilkins in the War of 1812 (IIRC).
