Chaplain Richardson 4th Regiment, Mississippi Inf.

Seeking information on Chaplain Richardson of Company G 4th Regiment, Mississippi Infantry. I have his Compiled Military Service Records however he is shown both as J.P. Richardson and J.H. Richardson. He was captured at Fort Donelson, Tennessee on February 16, 1862 and would die at the Camp Chase Prison in early March of 1862. He was not J.P. Richardson of Lawrence County Tennessee as that man, although he was listed as a preacher in the 1860 census would die in Howard County, Arkansas well after the War. Some authors have this man as both being a physican and a chaplain however, I do not see any sources for that information. He may have been J.H. Richardson from Attala County, Mississippi. Company G was mostly formed from men of Holmes County, Mississippi. According to the 1860 census J.H. Richardson's occupation was listed as a printer. Chaplain Richardson enlisted as a private in Company G at Fort Henry, Tennessee near the end of 1861. According to information from the magazine the "Confederate Veteran" he was listed as Chaplain J.H. Richardson of the 4th Regiment, Mississippi Infantry. The Camp Chase Records have his name as both J.P. Richardson and J.H. Richardson. There was also a J.H. Richardson from Gibson County, Tennessee however this also is not the same man as he died in January 1865. If anyone knows anything about Chaplain Richardson, what his true name was and where he was from, I would be appreciative. As far as I can tell, Confederate Chaplain Richardson would be the only Confederate Chaplain to die as a POW during the War.
