Thanks for the input and clarification.... my thinking is not up to snuff. As a matter of fact I don't know any thing about his parents other than I have been told there were three (3) Matheny brothers that came from Germany, one settle in MS, one around Baton Rouge LA and one in TX. Any info would be appreciated.
