My GGG Uncle Joseph Lightfoot 4th Inf. Miss. Volunteers. Fought at Vicksburg. Was wounded and sent to Enterprise, Miss.. After his parole and exchange he was sent to Murfreesboro, Tennessee I under stand the 4th Miss. was broken up and was absorbed in different Units in Miss and Alabama which unit I'm not sure which.
He was born and lived in Attala County Miss. His father my GGG Grandfather was Julius Caesar Lightfoot he was with Sandford's Art. he was old and got an Hon. Disability Discharge.
After Murfreesboro I have no clue as to where my Uncle ended up, and after my GF's return home I can't find where either one is buried.
Any help is most appreciated.
