I am looking for information about John R. Dunlap, b. 1842 MS, was in the Jeff Davis Legion Cavalry (http://opac2.mdah.state.ms.us/queries/query.php) Roll number 490. His military record confirms that he was wounded July 3, 1863 at the Battle of Gettysburg which required amputation of his right leg.

Can anyone help me find his death date & location, & burial location? All I know is that he worked for awhile in Austin, TX as doorkeeper for the House of Representatives when it was in session. He is in a city directory in 1903, & I find no further record of him. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
