I'm looking for more information regarding Oneida Eveline or Aveline Hambrick wife of Confederate Soldier Jesse Elrod. Can you please forward me the contact information for Eudora Hill who seems to know a lot about her, as Oneida is my Great, Great, Great Grandmother. I would appreciate any records or places to search to learn more about Oneida Aveline Hambrick, Christened Eudora Elrod HILL. I've been told there was a story published in the Daughters of the Confederacy Magazine about her having traveled undetected as a spy for the Confederacy while her husband was in a Union Prisoner of War camp. I've heard this story from 3 generations from my family and am looking for documentation.
