Re: Pvt. Cunliffe & Stonewall Jackson

As you know William Eggleston Cunliffe died on May 2, 1863 at the Battle of Chancellorsville. His brother John Richard Cunliffe died a little over a year later on May 6, 1864 at the Battle of the Wilderness. These were the only children of John Richard and Willie Ann Eggleston Cunliffe. William never married and had no heirs. However, John Richard married Susan Walton in Mississippi in 1861. She was born on September 11, 1841 and died May 24, 1900. John Richard and Susan had one child, Alice Mae Cunliffe, who was born in 1861. She married John Harbour McBee in 1880. He was born August 19, 1856 and according to Ancestry.com they had ten children before his death on October 5, 1904. Alice Mae died in 1939. I am sure some of the children or grandchildren of these 10 McBee children are still living but it will take some research to find them. Good luck.
