In Response To: J.L. Morphis Scouts ()

I found your article really interesting...some information I did not know. My Grandmother was Ivy Morphis Bodiford, your grandmother's twin sister. My father, Earl Thomas was her oldest son. I remember meeting your grandmother a few times when I was a child. Twin girls run in the family I guess. My uncle Tony also had twin girls.
The reason I found your message was that my sisters and I were talking about Morphis Corn and wondering if anyone had a pure strain of it any longer. It seems we may be the last to even remember these things about our ancestors. I try to pass along what knowledge and photos I have so that my children and grandchildren can get a tiny glimpse of these wonderful people. I miss my Ma and Pa Bodiford a lot.

Hope all is well.
