We have buried in the Civilian Portion of the Vicksburg City Cemetery a man named William Henderson Foote. It is a very long story, I have checked it out and the long write up on Find a Grave is correct.
I am interested in his part in the Civil War,
I have quite a file on him. He stated somewhere that he was in Virginia during the Civil War, It appears he was not in and did not claim to be in the Confederate Army,
Can anyone give me any information on this man.
