Four years' worth of G. O.s is covered and there are also Circulars.

But how do I look up the Special Orders?

I know these are commander-specific and will be indexed under the issuing officer. However, many times the Special Order is mentioned only by its number. This particular record mentions only S. O. #87 --

I thought maybe if I looked in the General Index under Smith (M. L. Smith), it might be mentioned because Miss. and E. La. were part his purview. Nope.

Would someone kindly point me to a list of Special Orders? Thank you!
