On another note. Some years ago I found a reference to a Negro Confederate Captain who was also listed as a POW. If memory still serves me halfway decent I believe he was the captain of the Steamboat Argos(?). Can you assist me in any way in finding this man. If it turns out to be true, he will be the 2nd Negro Confederate officer I have found.
