Thomas J. Fewox 37th MS Infantry

I found a short notice in the August 19th, 1887 in the Tupelo Journal. The notice was about a headstone found on a farm near Saltillo MS. The headstone read T.J. Fewax(sp.) 37th Ms. Infantry Co. K. The death year had been obscured. On Fold 3, I found records for a T.J. Fewox. He died August 29th, 1862. The owner of the farm, Mr. Wesley Cole, wanted this young man's family to know where he was buried. I don't know if they ever knew, but wanted to share this about this brave young man.
