Bruce, I'm looking into the field officers of the 10th Mississippi Infantry. In Confederate Colonels, you have Wade being appointed Lieutenant Colonel in January 1861. I can find no confirmation of this in CSR, Rowland's History of Mississippi, CMH, Rietti or any other source. Can you confirm if he received that appointment? Many thanks, Phil.
