Thanks very much for the response.

Presumably the short lived regiment at Pensacola that you refer to is that commanded by Col. Charles H. Abert, Lieut.Col. William B. Wade and Maj. Samuel F. Butler. Looking at the company make up it seems that only Wade's Lowndes Southrons later became part of the 10th Mississippi (1st Organization) with Wade reverting to Captain. The other companies eventually became part of the 11th and 14th Mississippi and other units.

It is interesting to note that the CSR unit information for Wade's company shows him as being cashiered on 19 December 1861.
