I have a Mississippi pension application for a John Ryan who claims he was a Captain or Corporal [handwriting] in Rhines Battery under a Colonel Rhines. He was wounded at Chickamauga and surrendered at Millisgeville [Milledgeville?] Georgia. He enlisted in Warren County, Mississippi.

Having a little problem finding this battery. Can anybody help?
