I was incorrect in indicating the 37th Mississippi was located in the NW section of the siege line, I failed to see the compass indicator. They were actually on the Eastern flank. See tour bus stop #4 on the Park Tour map, near Ransom's Gun Path. See attachment.

I do believe you have sufficient information to obtain a VA Tomb Stone for placement at the Vicksburg Cedar Hill Confederate Cemetery. The local SCV Camp should be of help. I believe Eddy Cresap is a member.
