The flag -- with its 13 white stars on a blue X with a red background --

1. Means different things to different people,

2. For many it is "a painful reminder of past days of transgressions in this State

3. It is said the flag does not represent the ideals and principles of the state or the city.

These are nothing more than generalities. I would suggest they should be challenged
to a debate with a responsible group, perhaps the SCV/UDC.
