Always interested in the 36th. My g grandfather had two older brothers in the 36th. Geo. W. Rea Co. G and Robert Wiley Rea in Cos. G and D. Lt. Geo Rea was mortally wounded, I believe leading a charge at Franklin and died at a hospital in Mobile and is buried in Hazelhurst. Sgt. Rea was wounded twice, including the Battle of Atlanta. He recovered at Kingston Hospital in Barnesville, GA., survived the war and became a MD in Wesson after The War and is buried in Wesson.
