Fatal Accident

Found the following article in the Richmond Daily Dispatch. I would suspect that some type of horseplay lead to this tragedy.

I have not been able to find this fellow in any rosters. Perhaps a typographical error so prevalent in newspaper pieces.

Fatal Accident

--Yesterday, about half-past 2 o'clock, a soldier named Charles Cluts, belonging to the 7th North Carolina, fell from one of the rear windows of the barrack on Franklin street, and striking (after a descent of 20 feet) on a door which was open below lodged on it, and was taken off quite dead having no doubt broken his back, besides sustaining other injuries.
