Is Walker a family name? My Grandmother on my Mother's side's maiden name was Walker. There are quite a few Walkers in the 54th NC as well. My GG Grandfather on my Mother's side was a Livingston (Jordan). He enlisted in Dec 61 and ended up in the 11th NC, Co B (Bethel Regiment). He was from Wilkes County as well. Other family names in my line are Saunders, McGhee, and Miller, all from the High Point area.
