Allen,
Thanks, I found an Obit. for this man in the Fayetteville Observer of Nov. 7, 1864.
"Died at Winder Hospital, Richmond on the 25th Oct. of wounds received near Richmond, about three weeks previously, while gallantly carrying the Colors of his Regiment."
Apparently he was wounded during the operations around
Fort Harrison on Sept. 30, 1864.
