Looking for the unit of James Foster. b.4/12/1824 d.2/14/1890. He was a captain in some North Carolina unit. Moved to Indiana after the war (about 1870) and died at New Richmond, IN in Montgomery County. He is buried at the New Richmond Cemetery.
