Erik, Not sure this will help you, but according to the death certificate of George Dallas Markham, he was the son of H. S. Markham and a Miss Carlton. He was born 10/25/1844 and died 4/28/1922. He lived on Chapel Hill Blvd. in Durham. He was buried on 4/30/1922 in the family cemetery. Hall-Wynne Funeral Home in Durham (still in operation) handled the body. Informant on info was Ernest Markham.
