Sincere thanks for your help. I was using the info given to me by the SCV Camp up in Indiana. Thomas Grissom was listed as a member of the UCV post that met at Ladoga,IN in the late 1800's, this was the Unit associated with his name. That list was developed by a local Civil War historian. I have also searched for more information on him and come up
with nothing. I'll keep looking and again thanks to both of you for offering a helping hand.
