Confederate Soilders Burial Grounds?

I have a relative by the name of William James Weatherford that served in the North Carolina 25th Co.G Highland Guards. According to his service records he died in Jackson Hospital, Richmond, Va. On June, 28th 1864. Death is listed as wounds to the left thigh and hand and then died from gangrene. His wife is buried in Princeton Factory, Athens Georgia along with all the other members of his family and according to family history and notes it was never determined where he was laid to rest. It would mean allot to us if we could determine his whereabouts. Are there any death lists for hospitals including location of burial or confederate burial grounds near this area? Any direction anyone could provide would be of appreciation. Sincerely, Wayne Hemrick
