My GG Grandfather, James N. Brown was in Co. A, 52nd Reg. NC infantry. Inlisted April 6, 1863, age 34, in Cabarrus County. He was wounded and captured at Gettysburg on or about July 3, 1863. I am interested in knowing what battle he was wounded in ...Picketts charge? etc. and his commanding officers. He spent remainder of war as prisoner until exchanged from Red River Louisiana on May 4, 1865. Thanks
