A while back I asked where Sandy Foundation was because it showed up on some of the papers from my great grandfather's military records. He served in the NC 27th Infantry. I finally found Sandy Foundation. I had it all along. Its listed as the "Post Office" on the 1860 census where they lived in Woodington, Lenoir, NC. I just had never paid attention to that part of the census record. I have learned my lesson.
