Thanks for responding. Do you know if there is an online archive of this magazine or if there are any known repositories of microfilm or actual magazines anywhere? I once saw one of those magazines, but never bought it. My Great Great Grandfather, James A. Cromartie from Bladen County was in this Regiment. I am hoping to find a picture of him in a UCV photo or old newspaper or magazine article. I know the Bladen County historical society has a booklet on the William Cromartie family from whom I am descended, but I don't know if James is in there.
