I'm looking for any information on my great granfather, John Smith Emerson. I believe he was a private in the 2nd Battalion North Carolina Infantry, Company B. He was wounded at the Battle of the Wilderness and was in a hospital in Richmind, VA. Thanks in advance for any information.
