C.**, forwarded to Camp Douglas, Illinois prison camp via Louisville, Kentucky September 24, 1863***, discharged (released) June 16, 1865 on taking the Oath of Allegiance to the United States, description: residence Jackson County, N. C., dark complexion, black hair, gray eyes, 6 ft. ____ in. [Under remarks, it looks like Prineville or Princeville, Tenn., can't tell]
