james w. burch/23rd NC Inf comp K

First off, i would like to compliment this site on its fast records search service, which has informed me that my relative John W. Birch a 21 year old farmer from Hertford NC, of 5th NC Inf., comp. F., had light hair, blue eyes, and was 5'6, was admitted to Camp Winder Hospital in Richmond for debility on May 7,1862 for a little under 2 weeks, was discharged, and died from wounds received at the battle of Gaines Mill occuring on June 27, 1862, that he was also nominated unanimously by his company for the Confederate Roll of Honor.
My big mystery is trying to find his death day and grave site.
While researching further, I chanced upon a J.W.Burch confederate pvt. buried at Finns Point National Cemetery in New Jersey, who had been a prisoner of war at Fort Delaware. At the end of this day, I find, through several sites, his name was actually James W. Burch of 23rd NC Infantry, signed up in Weldon, NC. Just sending this in case it might help someone else find their missing relative, and continued hoping to find mine.
