THanks George!! I have an ancestor in the 61st Tenn., a related unit. He was from Claiborne County, Tenn. or maybe Hawkins. I think the 43rd's flag was made in Montgomery County, Kentucky. Was it a first National or something else? Or am I getting this wrong? TO make this post North Carolina related, I can say there are books available on the 37th and 58th Tar heel that look awesome. People should come on here and find out about their Tar heel ancestors and discuss them. It's not basketball season yet. LOL!!
